VILLAGE OF LIVINGSTON

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

TUESDAY, JULY 6 2010

Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM.

Clerk Johnson took roll call Tom Brown Yes, Ron Haas Absent, Rosie Gluege Yes, Kyle Richards Yes, Deb France Absent, Tim Loeffelholz Yes and Randy Warne Absent. Also present were Clerk Johnson, Betty Schambow and Joe Kitelinger late.

Clerk Johnson verified the agenda was posted at the Village Post Office, Village Message Board and Village Office on 7/01/10.

Bart from Delta 3 said that there is an issue with the trees in the ditch line by the ball field, they need to be removed. Also the board will replace any trees that are removed. The trees are in the way of the power lines and that when they redo county E they will be removed to do the road. Bart and Joe talked the supplier for the Scata system and were able to save about $15000.00 on the new software. Bart also talked to a bond company and the cost for them to do a bond for the Village would be about $6000.00. Joe is going to call the PSC and find out what the Village has to do in order to get the billing changed from reading in the thousands to hundreds.

Tim Loeffelholz made a motion to approve the June 7, 10 minutes. Rosie Gluege seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.

Tom Brown made a motion to approve the bills to be paid. Tim Loeffelholz seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.

Clerks Report

Dawn reminded the board that she will be gone the week of the 11th. Dawn explained the smoking ordinances that the board could adopt. They chose not to. She also has not gotten any responses for the free meeting. And that she needs Tom and Tim’s signature for the savings account. Dawn also expressed that the board should increase the credit limit of her and Clem’s Village credit card to $1000.00. The board agreed.

Library Report

Betty expressed that the communication between the board and the employees need to be better. She has got a company coming in and shampooing the carpet in the library in July. The computers that she ordered are on back order but should be here in August. The Library board has a new Treasurer and it is Marcella Dante.

Kyle Richards made a motion to approve Dawn to take money out of the savings account at the Livingston State Bank. Rosie Gluege seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.

Tim Loffelholz made a motion to approve the resolution 07-2010 authorizing the barrowing of $340000.00 from the Livingston State Bank for the Well 2 project. Kyle Richards seconded the motion. Tom Brown Yes, Ron Haas Absent, Rosie Gluege Yes, Kyle Richards Yes, Deb France Absent, Tim Loeffelholz Yes and Randy Warne Absent. Motion Carried.

Maintenance Report

The bank has giving a donation of $500.00 to the Village for the construction of the new bathrooms at the Ball Park. All reposts that Joe sent out to the DNR were good. Rosie Gluege made a motion to approve the CMAR Reports, Resolution number 05-2010. Tim Loeffelholz seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried. Tim made a motion to approve the filling of the pot holes with 2 inch pavement on Clifton Street. Rosie Gluege seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried. Jackson Street will get seal coating.
