REGULAR BOARD MEETING

MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2010

Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM.

Clerk Johnson took roll call Tom Brown Yes, Ron Haas Yes, Rosie Gluege Yes, Bill Straka Yes, Deb France Yes, Tim Loeffelholz Yes and Eric Johannesen Yes but late. Also present were Clerk Johnson, and Joe Kitelinger.

Clerk Johnson verified the agenda was posted at the Village Post Office, Village Message Board and Village Office on 4/01/10.

Ron Haas made a motion to approve the March 1, 10 minutes. Deb France seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.

Tim Loeffelholz made a motion to approve the March Treasurer Reports. Ron Haas seconded the motion. Tom Brown Yes, Ron Haas Yes, Rosie Gluege Yes, Bill Straka Yes, Deb France Yes, Tim Loeffelholz Yes, Eric Johannesen Yes. Motion carried.

Bart Delta 3

Bart discussed the CDBG Grant and the award conditions; the condition was that the Village has to open an account for the matching funds with the appropriate amount of money to match the grant amount.

Tim Loeffelholz made a motion to have Bart set a date for bids on the Water tower after all the paperwork is done with Dept. of Commerce. Deb France seconded the motion. Clerks Report

The election equipment has arrived. Dawn presented the offers for the new computer. Eric explained the difference between the two. Dawn is to look over the information and let the board know at the next meeting of she wants.

Library Report

Betty said that she would like to have the carpet cleaned again. Betty also inquired about the hand book and the contracts.

Presidents Report

Tom Brown has declared that April 30th as Arbor Day; I, Tom Brown, President of the Village of Livingston, Wisconsin do proclaim April 30th as Arbor Day. On this day especially, but on every day, we are reminded of the value of trees to our Village and its citizens.

Ron Haas made a motion to approve Clerk Johnson to take money out of the LGIP to pay bills. Eric Johannesen seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.

Maintenance Report

Joe explained that the Village and Library woman’s bathroom is not working. Joe will fix the bathroom in the next few weeks. Joe will be putting up a 4 way stop on the intersection of Grove St. and Thompson on or about April 19th. So be aware. Joe talked to the board about the new meters and all the services that comes with the meters.
