VILLAGE OF LIVINGSTON
REGULAR BOARD MEETING
MONDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2009
Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM.
Clerk Johnson took roll call Tom Brown Yes, Ron Haas Yes, Rosie Gluege Yes, Bill Straka Yes, Deb France Yes, Tim Loeffelholz Yes and Eric Johannesen Yes. Also present were Clerk Johnson, Joe Kitelinger and Ric Riniker.
Clerk Johnson verified the agenda was posted at the Village Post Office, Village Message Board and Village Office on 12/03/09.
Eric Johannesen made a motion to approve the November 2, 09 minutes. Ron Haas seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.
Tim Loeffelholz made a motion to approve the November Treasurer Reports Eric Johannesen seconded the motion. Tom Brown Yes, Ron Haas Yes, Rosie Gluege Yes, Bill Straka Yes, Deb France Yes, Tim Loeffelholz Yes, Eric Johannesen Yes. Motion carried.
Tim Loeffelholz made a motion to approve the November bills from General; Buddy Simons in the amount of $266.00 for replacing Krista Petersons window, Infield Law Office in the amount of $800.70 for legal fees and Ivey Construction in the amount of $ 938.25 for salt and chips. And Water; Johnson & Block in the amount of $1185.00 for Water Rate Case and J & R in the amount of $1071.04 for Distribution Main Part. Eric Johannesen seconded the motion. Tom Brown Yes, Ron Haas Yes, Rosie Gluege Yes, Bill Straka Yes, Deb France Yes and Tim Loeffelholz Yes Eric Johannesen Yes. Motion carried.
Ric Riniker
Ric hasn’t heard anything in regards to the Co-op gas station. Did stop in and took a look at Rod Allen’s sheds. Ric asked about the free variance meeting in the spring. Board did say that they would still do that for the residents.

Dawn asked the board to set a date for caucus-January 4 at 8pm. Dawn told the board that she would not be attending the board meeting with Bart on Thursday. Board said that would be fine. Dawn is supposed to get examples of other villages policy for the H1N1. Dawn wanted to know what she should due if there is inclement weather and how the board wanted her to handle this. Dawn is suppose to call Tom and if the weather is bad and not to come into work. Dawn said that she has gotten several complains about Dan Reuters dog. The ordnance states that there has to be 3 written complaint before a ticket can be issued.

Eric Johannesen made a motion to approve the 2010 general, water and sewer budgets. Deb France seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.

Ron Haas made a motion to approve clerk Johnson to withdraw money out of the LGIP. Eric Johannesen seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried. Eric Johannesen made a motion to table item b & c until January 4 board meeting. Deb France seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried. Ron Haas made a motion to approve the Memorandum between the village and Iowa county. Deb France seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried. Kellie Tuttle was here to give a summary of what her findings were from the tree survey. She stressed that pruning and regular maintenance on the trees is important. Eric Johannesen made a motion for the approval of the resolution for a grant for the tree board. Tim Loeffelholz seconded the motion. All I. Ron Haas and Rosie abstained. Motion carried.
Maintenance Report
Joe said that the noon timer was here and that when he got a chance and it was a little warmer out that he would get it put in. Joe also said that the plow on the truck was cracked and that he and Clem welded it.
Ron Haas made a motion to go into closed session. Deb France seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.
Ron Haas made a motion to go back into open session. Rosie Gluege seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.
Eric Johannesen made motion to adjourn. Deb France seconded the motion. All I. Motion carried.
