VILLAGE OF LIVINGSTON

REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

 

JULY 14, 2020

 

HELD AT VILLAGE HALL-220 W. BARBER AVE, LIVINGSTON, WI 53554

 

Meeting called to order at 7:02 pm by Village president, Tom Brown.

 

Roll call taken; Tom Brown-present, Linda Friesen, Jason Potter-present, John Jelle-present, Tim Loeffelholz- present and Deb France-absent. Chris Roth-arrived at 7:20pm. Also in attendance: Mark Digman, Gary Stuckey and Christina Christianson.

 

Motion by Jelleto approve agenda. Friesen seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Clerk verified posting of agenda at Livingston post office, Village message board and Village office on 7/9/2020.

 

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve June minutes. Potter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

 

 

Police Report

 

Christina handed out Deputy Jeardeau’s report to board members. The deputy wanted me to let all board members know that if there is a time they want him at the board meetings to let him or I know. He also stated that you could call him if there’s anything you want to inform him of or have him check something out.

 

Engineering –Delta 3

 

Mark Digman gave the board an update on the construction progress. Motion by Brown to approve pay application #1 in the amount of $77,448.00. Potter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

 

New Business

 

Motion by Potter to approve Grant County Highway Improvement County Road Aid matching funds in the amount of $2000.00. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

 

Unfinished Business

 

In regards to any questions or concerns with the audit, Potter stated that the Village needs to keep up with the Water rate increases of 3% and Loeffelholz stated that it was so nice to see the audit and have it so complete.

 

 

Clerk Report-Christina Christianson

 

Wage and personel committee meeting was set for August 13, 2020 at 6:30 and the regular board meeting will also be that day at 7pm. (The change to the regular board meeting is due to the election on the 11th).

Clerk stated that she did send Ric Riniker a letter regarding his zoning administration duties and that the Village no longer needed Ric for these services.

Treasurers Report-Christina Christianson

 

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve June Treasurer’s report. Friesen seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Motion by Potter to approve paying of the following bill: $14,660.00 to Scotts Construction, Inc and paid out of the general account. Jelle seconded. All in favor. Motion passed,

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve Clerk to transfer of funds within the Village accounts through the LGIP and Community First Bank. Friesen seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Maintenance Report- Gary Stuckey

 

Gary gave his report. See notes for more information.

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve new pump for lift station 1 in the amount of $7469.00, this includes installment. Friesen seconded. Roll call vote all yes. Motion passed.

Motion by Potter to accept and approve quote from Iverson Construction in the amount of $17,680.50 for paving in 2020. Roth seconded. Roll call vote all yes. Motion passed.

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve the reprogramming for Scada alarms, for the water system with XP Microsoft. Cost will be split with water and sewer accounts no more than the amount of $6500.00. Potter seconded. Roll call vote all yes. Motion passed.

 

Motion by Friesen to adjourn at 7:43pm. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

 

 

 

 

Next regular Village Board meeting will be on Thursday, August 13, 2020 @ 7pm
