VILLAGE OF LIVINGSTON REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES July 9, 2019 HELD AT VILLAGE HALL 220 W. BARBER AVE, LIVINGSTON, WI 53554 Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm by Village president, Tom Brown. Roll call taken; Tom Brown present , Deb France present , John Jelle present , Tim Loeffelholz present and Chris Roth present . Linda Friesen & Jason Potter absent . Also in attendance: Bill Straka, Stephanie Anderson, Sarah Buroker, Eileen Brownlee and college Eric, Sergeant Casper, Steve Jeardeau , Gary Stuckey and Clerk Christina Christianson Motion by Roth to approve agenda. Jelle seconded. All in favor. Motion passed. Clerk verified posting of agenda at Livingston post office, Village message board and Village office on7/5/19. Motion by France to approve June minutes. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed. Police Report Steve gave a brief report. He updated the board on some more vandalism and different areas around town. He will continue to monitor. Letters have been sent to numerous residents regarding cleaning up properties. Stephanie Anderson discussed a dog attack that had taken place with her parent?s dog and another dog that was in the Village in the evening hours of June 24th on her parent?s dog. Sarah Buroker and Bill Straka also discussed this all with Sergeant Casper and Deputy Jeardeau. Eileen Brownlee stated that it is clearly a civil matter and asked that the discussion be taken outside with Bill, Stephanie, Sarah, Deputy Jeardeau and Sergeant Casper after a half hour of discussing during the board meeting. New Business Motion by Jelle to approve operator license for Kristoffer Jennings. France seconded. All in favor with Loeffelholz abstaining. Motion passed. Motion by Brown to approve 2 year agreement with Grant County for providing the Village with SVRS relier service. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed. Motion by Roth to approve $2000.00 for Grant County Highway Improvement county road aid matching fund. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed. Unfinished Business Discussed updating the Livingston Resource guide and Village website. Clerk will be in touch with Kimberly Loeffelholz regarding the website and will look at updating our resource guide as the program that was used previously isn?t available anymore so we would have to start from scratch. Clerk Report--Christina Christianson Clerk will email Jason Potter--Chairman of wage and personal as to when to set up a committee meeting. Eileen Brownlee informed Eileen Brownlee informed the board that the gifted the board that the gifted land from Eastman land from Eastman--Cartwright has been signed and the deed has been sent to the register of deeds and we should receive it back soon. There are no conditions on the gifted parcels of land from Eastman Cartwright. The board extends their appreciation conditions on the gifted parcels of land from Eastman Cartwright. Treasurers Report--Christina Christianson Motion by Roth to approve June to approve June Treasurer?s report. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed. Motion by Brown to approve bill for loan with Community First Bank loan in the amount of $42,452.05 to be to be paid out of Water account. Jelle seconded.Motion seconded. All in favor. Motion passed. Motion by Loeffelholz to approve Clerk to transfer of funds within the Village accounts through the to approve Clerk to transfer of funds within the LGIP and Community First Bank. Roth seconded.
