VILLAGE OF LIVINGSTON
PUBLIC HEARING
2019 PROPOSED BUDGET
Tuesday- November 13, 2018 – 6:30pm
Village President Brown called the 2019 Proposed Budget Hearing meeting to order at 6:30 PM.
Clerk Christianson verified the posting of the agenda on October 31, 2018 in accordance to WI Statute 19.84(3) at the Livingston Village Office, Livingston Message Board and the Livingston Post Office. Public Hearing was also advertised in the Platteville Journal and on October 31, 2018.
Roll call: Brown-present, Gluege-present, Friesen-present, Potter-present, Loeffelholz-present and Roth-present and Jelle-absent. Also present was Gary Stuckey and Christina Christianson.
The purpose of this Public Hearing Meeting was to review our 2019 proposed budget with the general public and answer any questions they or the Board may have.
Income & Expense Budgets were reviewed for all funds General, Sewer and Water.
Village President, Tom Brown asked for any comments that anyone may have pertaining to the 2019 Proposed Budget.
There were no public comments but discussion was had between the board members as to start two new savings accounts at the Local Government Investment program (LGIP). One account being for streets and the other for parks.
Brown made a motion to approve the 2019 Proposed General budget. Potter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
Loeffelholz moved to adjourn at 6:55p.m. Gluege seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
