REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

October 9, 2018

HELD AT VILLAGE HALL-220 W. BARBER AVE, LIVINGSTON, WI 53554

Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm by Village president, Tom Brown.

Roll call taken; Tom Brown-present, -present, Rosie Gluege-present, Jason Potter-present, Kimberly Loeffelholz-present, Linda Friesen-present, Chris Roth-present & John Jelle-present. Also in attendance Curtis Zimmerman, Sheila Ruchti and Gary Stuckey. Clerk Christianson was absent. Kimberly Loeffelholz took meeting minutes.

Motion by Roth to approve agenda. Potter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Loeffelholz verified posting of agenda at Livingston post office, Village message board and Village office on 10/4/18.

Motion by Gluege to approve September minutes. Friesen seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Police Report

Jeremy was not present but his report was handed out to board members.

New Business

Motion by Brown to approve budget meeting for November 13, 2018 at 6:30pm. Potter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Discussed alternate side parking and ice skate rink. Linda Friesen will look into what other towns and villages need to do with ice skating rinks and get back to the board next month. Alternate side parking can be discussed in the spring of 2019 as there is not time to discuss changes at this point for this year.

Sheila talked to numerous supporters on the gifted land from Jinkins. MZ Construction (Curtis Zimmerman) an his crew are willing to donate as well and Curtis has spoken to Iowa-Grant School on bringing softball and youth games here at the sports park. Motion by Brown to proceed with signing counter ofer and getting new dates for offer. Potter seconded. Roll Call Vote with All in favor. Motion passed.

Treasurers Report-Christina Christianson

Motion by Brown to approve September Treasurer’s report. Gluege seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Motion by Brown to approve loan payment (#92236) for the LCFD building addition in the amount of $16,624.84 to be paid out of the general account. Jelle seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Motion by Gluege to approve Clerk to transfer of funds within the Village accounts through the LGIP and Community First Bank. Roth seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
