REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

April 10, 2018

 

 

 

HELD AT VILLAGE HALL-220 W. BARBER AVE, LIVINGSTON, WI 53554

 

 

 

 

Meeting called to order at 7pm by Village president, Tom Brown.

Roll call taken; Tom Brown-present, Rosie Gluege-present, Ron Haas-present, Chris Roth-present, Ryan Walter-Present & Kimberly Loeffelholz-present & Earl McLean-present

Also in attendance – Linda Friesen, Jason Potter, John Jelle, Gary Stuckey, Bill Graber, Brian Kleist and Bill Straka. Christina Christianson-clerk was absent.

Motion by Haas to approve April agenda. Brown seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Loeffelholz verified posting of agenda at Livingston post office, Village message board and Village office on 4/5/18.

Motion by Gluege to approve March board minutes. Roth seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

 

 

Police Report

No report

 

 

Unfinished Business

Discussion regarding the possible gifted land to village from Jack and Donna Jinkins. Must be done within a year and property land-locked.

Tractor pull discussion. Motion by Haas to allow tractor pull over festival weekend on Fayette street in front of storage units. Roth seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

 

 

New Business

Loeffelholz gave a website update and informed the board that many people have been assessing the website from a counter on the website and gave a chart sheet for it.

Set Board of review for May 14, 2018 from 6-8pm.

 

 

Treasurers Report-Christina Christianson

Motion by Brown to approve March treasurer’s report. Gluege seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

No bills to approve.

Motion by Gluege to approve Clerk transferring of funds within the Village accounts and through the LGIP and Community First Bank. Haas seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clerks Report

Motion by Gluege to approve liquor and cigarette license for My Turn North, LLC (Lee McCarville-Agent). McLean seconded.

Table for further explanation on the crime and cyber insurance.

 

 

Maintenance Report- Gary Stuckey

Gary gave his maintenance report.

Motion by Gluege to approve Gary attending Tree Management classes. Brown seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

 

 

 

Presidents Report

Brown swore in newly elected officials, Linda Friesen, John Jelle and Jason Potter.

 

 

Motion to Adjourn

Motion by Haas to adjourn at 7:46pm. Gluege seconded. All in favor. Motion passed
