Gary informed the board that he has spoke with Alliant Energy and they quoted him anywhere from $300-500.00 for a light post which will be erected on the far west end of W. Ridge Street by Harry Reddy’s property. Gary will inform Harry Reddy that this will be taking place soon. Alliant will also be adding a light to the post up on Barber Ave by the back garage of the Village office, which will be no cost other than monthly electric.

Gary stated that the Village of Cobb and the Village of Montfort will be hiring out Gary and the leaf truck for some leaf pickups. Flushing of fire hydrants will be October 13, 2017.

Gary has started discussion with Bart at Delta 3 engineering regarding project for barber and Grove Street possibly to be done by 2020. Some of the engineering expense as well as surveying expense have already been done which was approximately 6-10 years ago. There are some grants that the Village could get and in doing so would need to be applying for that in the next year or so.
