REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES
May 9, 2017
HELD AT VILLAGE HALL-220 W. BARBER AVE, LIVINGSTON, WI 53554

Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm by Village president, Tom Brown.

Roll call taken; Tom Brown-present, Ron Haas- present, Ryan Walter-present, Rosie Gluege-present, Kimberly Loeffelholz-present, Chris Roth-present and Earl McLean-present. Also in attendance were Jerry Smalley, Joel Washburn, Jay Bennett, Sara Jacobson, Gary Stuckey and Clerk Christina Christianson.

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve agenda. McLean seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
Verified posting of agenda at Livingston post office, Village message board and Village office on 5/4/17.

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve April minutes. Gluege seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

New Business
Â
Joel Washburn presented information on having a street dance for the Livingston Festival. Items were discussed and agreed on that all ordinances need to be followed and Joel needs to discuss issues with Deputy Vesperman. All three bars will be participating in this event so all three need to be aware of all rules and ordinances. The board gave their approval as long as all ordinances are obeyed. Center street will be closed for sure from the corner of Woodward and Barber. If any other streets need to be closed they need to be discussed with Gary and Christina
Johnson and Block were present and gave a report on the full audit they did for the year 2016.
Jerry Smalley was present representing the Fire Board for the Livingston-Clifton Fire district. He has written an amendment with changes to the by-laws. This was discussed at length and the Village will be forwarding it onto legal counsel and will be put on agenda next month to be discussed and or approved.

Motion by Gluege to approve April Treasurer’s report. Walter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
Motion by Brown to approve bills for JI Construction in the amount of $6242.48 to be paid out of Sewer account, and Utility Services in the amount of $3655.52 to be paid out of the water account. Roth seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
Motion by Haas to approve Clerk to transfer of funds within the Village accounts through the LGIP and Community First Bank. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Library Report
Â
Ron Haas gave a brief report on the library. The “Tea” Fundraiser had a good turnout and the summer reading program will be starting in June.

Maintenance Report- Gary Stuckey
Â
Gary updated the board on what has been happening the last month. Gary stated that he is still working with IG School to stop what every product is being pumped to the Hwy 80 lift station. Also noted that the pumpage for April was down to 250,000 gallons.
Park restrooms are now open for the summer.
Manhole on S. Park street couldn’t be fixed so it was replaced by JI Construction. In doing this it has slowed the water coming to the sewer plant by 50,000 gallons per day.
Water service/curb stop repair by Dennis Biba home done.
Trees from Grant County were all planted.
Cummins donated 7 picnic tables to the Village. Gary and Clem have been working on them and they hope to have them placed at parks soon. Village will send thank you note to Cummins for their generous donation.
