REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES
April 11, 2017
HELD AT VILLAGE HALL-220 W. BARBER AVE, LIVINGSTON, WI 53554

Meeting called to order at 7pm by Village president, Tom Brown.

Roll call taken; Tom Brown-present, Ron Haas- present, Ryan Walter-present, Rosie Gluege-present, Kimberly Loeffelholz-present, Chris Roth-present and Earl McLean-absent. Also in attendance were Gary Stuckey and Clerk Christina Christianson (arrived at 7:10pm).

Motion by Gluege to approve agenda. Walter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
Verified posting of agenda at Livingston post office, Village message board and Village office on 4/6/17.

Motion by Haas to approve March minutes. Walter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

New Business
Â
Clerk Christianson administered Oath of office to elected officials, Rose Mary Gluege, Kimberly Loeffelholz and Chris Roth.
Board of Review date set for Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm with regular board meeting to immediately follow.
Motion by Loeffelholz to approve resolution #PW2017, for 6% sewer increase to take effect as of May 1, 2017. Haas seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Treasurers Report-Christina Christianson

Motion by Gluege to approve March Treasurer’s report. Brown seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
Motion by Loeffelholz to approve bills for JI Construction in the amount of $3000.00 to be paid out of Water account, Bill Hamilton in the amount of $2500.00 out of the general account and B & M Technical Service in the amount of $4855.66 to be paid out of the sewer account. Brown seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
Motion by Haas to pay the JI Construction invoice that we are expecting soon for a water main break for the amount due but not to exceed $3000.00. Gluege seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
Motion by Loeffelholz to approve Clerk to transfer of funds within the Village accounts through the LGIP and Community First Bank. Haas seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Clerk Report-Christina Christianson
Â
Christina updated the board on the past election which took place on April 4th. Voters in Grant County and Iowa County totaled 99 voters in all. For Village board results they were- Tom Brown receiving 94 votes, Rose Mary Gluege receiving 75 votes, Kimberly Loeffelholz received 88 votes and Chris Roth received 78 votes.

Library Report

Ron Haas gave a brief report on the library. The “Tea “ Fundraiser that is put on yearly by area residents will be May 4, 2017 starting at 1pm. He also stated that the card players numbers are starting to really decrease and that toddler time has started on Wednesday morning starting at 10am.

Maintenance Report- Gary Stuckey
Â
Gary updated the board on what has been happening the last month. Gary stated that the IG School had their meter calibrated and we should be-able to see the results of less pumpage in the month of April. Discussion of the lift station rehab was had and looked at two different prices. Motion by Haas to accept B & M Technical Services quote in the amount of $18,832.00 to repair lift station. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
