Maintenance Report- Gary Stuckey
Â
Gary updated the board on what has been happening the last month. Gary discussed sewer and water rates. The Utilities committee (Ryan, Rosie & Earl) met on April 3, 2017 and discussed raising the current sewer rates. This was discussed at length and Gary will get different percentages for the next meeting and have a resolution prepared to move forward with increasing the sewer rates. Also discussed the lift station for IG School and having them get their meter calibrated since the monthly readings have been increasing for months now. There has been a lot more rain in February (4 inches) than normal and that can be some of the reason but it is to be noted that there may be a possible leak on their end as well.
It was discussed that the Village add a line to the sewer budget for saving a certain amount or percentage from the monthly IG School pumping billing to be put in an account for future costs/emergencies.
There was a service break on Monday march 6th by B-L Ag Service as it was before the curb stop.
Â
Motion by Gluege to approve Gary to attend the annual Wisconsin Rural Water convention to be held in Lacrosse this year on March 29, 30 & 31, 2017. Haas seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
