REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

November 7, 2016, which immediately followed the Public Hearing @ 6:30pm.

HELD AT VILLAGE HALL-220 W. BARBER AVE, LIVINGSTON, WI 53554

Meeting called to order at 6:40 pm by Village president, Tom Brown.

Roll call taken; Kimberly Loeffelholz-present, Rosemary Gluege-present, Tom Brown-present, Ron Haas- present, Ryan Walter-present. Earl McLean-absent. Also in attendance were Gary Stuckey, Greg Marsh and Clerk Christina Christianson.

Motion by Haas to approve agenda. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Clerk verified posting of agenda at Livingston post office, Village message board and Village office on 11/03/16.

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve October minutes. Gluege seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Clerks Report-Christina Christianson

Motion by Brown to accept and approve Election Day Emergency Plan. Gluege seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Treasurers Report-Christina Christianson

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve October Treasurer’s report. Brown seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Motion by Gluege to approve bills to be paid to Utility Services in the amount of $3655.52 out of the water account. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve transfer of funds within the Village accounts for Clerk Christianson. Haas seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

New Business

Motion by Loeffelholz to approve resolution #2016-21 for general budget Village tax levy at $170,250.00. Walter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.

Table agenda item 8 (b) by Haas. Loeffelholz seconded. All in favor. Table motion passed.

Motion by Gluege to accept with regrets, Village Board member resignation of Jeremie Klaas. Brown seconded. All in favor motion passed. The board wishes to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Jeremie for his service.

Police Report

Jerry’s log activity for the month was handed out by clerk as Jerry was unable to attend the meeting.

Library Report

Ron stated that the book drop being moved was discussed at the library board meeting in October and they waited to decide as they had some questions. As of today, the library board has not yet met.

Presidents Report-Tom Brown

Nothing to discuss regarding appointing a replacement for the open Village trustee spot at this time.

Clerk Christianson left the meeting at 6:51 as she had a previous commitment.

Maintenance Report- Gary Stuckey

Gary gave a brief report.

Truck will be repaired this week sometime. The Village of Cobb and Montfort will be using our services for vacuuming of leaves the 3rd week of November. Repairs will be done to the tank and diffusers will be replaced. This is 18 years old and normal life expectancy is 8-10 years so we have done well.

No motion was made to go into closed session.

Motion by Brown to adjourn at 6:57pm. Walter seconded. All in favor. Motion passed
