Maintenance Report- Gary Stuckey

Gary gave a brief report. Gary did state he had asked Betty if she minded moving the book drop so it doesn’t take up so much sidewalk space. She will bring it up at the next library meeting but didn’t see a problem for moving it. Gary did state a lot of people drive up on the sidewalk so they don’t have to get out of their vehicles and this is hurting the sidewalk. The meter issue is still being worked on at the well house that got hit by lightening earlier June. The siren works and is on an In-Line surge protector. The whole thing should be back up working soon. The A/C unit at the LCFD is all placed and should be working soon. Gary is hoping to use the rest of the money that was donated to the Ball Park at the old school-Sports Park- to improve some items, such as putting a yellow plastic topper on the fence.

We are waiting to receive an estimate from Bill Howell for work on the wheelchair accessible area at park.

Zoning Report-Ric Riniker

Ric Riniker arrived at 7:20 pm and gave brief report regarding permits applied for with Dale and Harold Coulthard and JI-ZIMM (Curtis Zimmerman & Phil Jinkins) which is the company that purchased the old grocery store and post office building. Ric is waiting for a floor plan from JI-ZIMM for the apartments that are being worked on upstairs and improvements to the downstairs. Ric did approve front of buildings permit for improving the facade (tuck pointing) and installment of new windows. Delta 3 Engineering is to be working with them.

Dale and Harold Coulthard will be applying for a few variances (size, height and assessor structure without an existing home) as they want to keep the lots that are next to each other separate if at all possible. This will be a Board of Appeals meeting. Once we receive the information from Dale and Harold we will start the process.

No motion made to go into closed session.

Motion made by Gluege to adjourn at 7:30pm. Brown seconded. All in favor. Motion passed.
